The Cloud

I wasn't going to post anything today, but then yesterday

at sunset, this cloud appeared. It was so huge, I couldn't catch it all with my camera.

So I sat down and enjoyed the magnificence of it, while Samson chewed away on my shoe.

As the sun set behind the mountains, the cloud's color

deepened and then it turned gray as darkness settled over the canyon. And this morning, I just had to share it.

  3. Beauty in nature is so fleeting, thanks for capturing it for your readers! That cloud is a beauty, makes you want to paint it.

I'm unfamiliar with desert scenes and clouds so I love seeing these glimpses of your part of the country, Inger.

  20. What magnificent cloud pictures. Well done, Inger!

And you were undeterred by the dog that ate your shoe. And tried for your foot, no doubt. Oversized puppy.
