Early This Morning

When I let the dogs out this morning, I noticed these strange looking clouds. And you know me and clouds, I couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures.

I like the silhouette effect here, just before the sun clears the mountain.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY, EVERYONE FROM US HERE IN THE CANYON!

  1. Happy 4th of July, Inger, and to all USA residents!! Independence is a thing to treasure. Clouds, too.

I wanted to let you know I was having trouble posting on Blogger until I downloaded the Chrome interface they suggest. I couldn't load pix before. Now, no problem.

Resistance is futile (remember) we will be assimilated. . .

  2. Hi Inger! We're watching clouds here too, but are watching for storm clouds since we lost power for 4 days. Thankfully it's back on, and it's blue skies and sunshine. I hope your 4th is an enjoyable one too!!

  4. Well Blogger did not take my comment. I will try again. I have not had the trouble you mentioned below. We have two Kindle's and I recommend them for several reasons, less to pile up in the house, adjustable and easy to read fonts, a light handling hold. Someday the books maybe cheaper as of now they all are not but I believe there is a suit out on that to bring the prices down. If you can get the Kindle Fire as it is a touch screen with an illuminated screen you can read in the dark if need be.

  11. Beautiful pictures of the clouds. One thing I find interesting about some of the gorgeous colorful skies I've seen: if we see the same exact shapes and colors in an oil painting, we don't think it looks realistic.

  13. The pictures are beautiful Inger! I so love early mornings... when most of the world is still asleep.
You're header is gorgeous. Have you had that up for long? For some reason I don't remember it.
Gracie said, Thanks Samson for the kind words. She feels inferior now and hopes her fur grows back soon.. though I know she must feel so much better.

Hope you all had a beautiful, safe and healthy 4th!
