Leontien

Leontien, I have pictures of grander flowers than this, but to me this suits you best.  Like this little flower emerging from the dry, sandy ground you fought a long and hard battle. You were an inspiration to all of us, your blogger friends, with your courage and your sense of humor in the face of adversity. You were a dreamer who made dreams come true: You married a wonderful man, who would stand by your side; you founded your dairy and made it a success; you even found the horse of your dreams and made sure he came to live with you. All the pictures and sentiments posted by your blogger friends yesterday, honoring your life, said it all. I can only add that you will be so missed, so very much missed, dear Leontien. And I know we will all be there for Bastiaan.

  15. Well done Inger. You summed up what a lot of us are feeling at the loss of Leontien. While it would have been a miracle if she had beaten her disease, I still hoped and prayed so hard that she would. Her bright light touched so many. I truly feel I have lost a friend and my heart goes out to her family.
