  11. There is something so charming about white picket fences, especially with flowers blooming nearby - I love the blooms too. We've waited a long time for this season...At least I have! :-)

  15. Superb new header, and the fence, I wonder if someone moved one of the palings and hopped in to get a wee branch of that beautiful flower and perfume to take home. What a delightful road to walk along.

  17. We don't have any flowers like that up here, but our mountain laurels are blooming now. Some are pink, and some white. We also have what are called "flame flowers" locally, don't know their real name. They look like orange red lillys.

    As always, I enjoy your photos. Like the new header.

  18. I have always loved lilacs! They are my favorite. But the sad thing... I cannot smell them like I used to :-( Just faintly...

  22. Those bushes are HUGE! My russian lilac that i cut all the way down to the ground after the fire, finally bloomed this year (after babying it and threatening it) Im thinking of the smell right now as I look at your pictures...
