Sierra Sunrise

Samson (who, because of his eye problems and general furriness, does not tolerate the sun) Says: OK, mommy, now that the sun's up, it's time for me to come in the house. Maybe I could get something to snack on? A dog biscuit, perhaps?

  2. There is NOTHING like the start of the day, and your photos are why! Samson knows that too, he just likes to see treats instead! :-)

  3. I remember Samson's problems from previous posts. It's cooler inside, and I'd probably feel the same about avoiding the sun. I don't care for too much heat, guess I'm like Goldilocks - I would like the temp just right, IMO of course. There is something cheery about the rising sun. . .as it foretells another day of possibilities.

  7. Hi Inger - beautiful sunrise ... lovely to see it as it lightens up the sky ... and Samson - he's lovely the way he says 'table's mine' - I'm sure he was given a cuddle and a biscuit when he was back in and away from the sun ... hope you'll be having a happy week -now it is getting cooler ...

It is glorious here this morning ... bright blue sky, sun rising, sparkling the Channel tide that is in ... and I can see the creamy cliffs at the end of Beachy Head ... just to make you a little jealous!! But I'd love your Canyon too ... cheers Hilary

  17. I'm bringing my two old dogs in this winter. They have always gone through the winter living in a house made of straw bales up against the barn, but they are just too old for that now.

I was out toodling around in the Jeep, out in the part of our county where the rich people live. There was this beautiful log house on a mountain top, and he had a Swedish flag flying from his flag pole. Didn't know there were any Swedes here but I guess there are!
