Just wanted to let you know that my modem sort of healed itself. It's OK, at least for now. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions for a cure. I will refer back to them should this happen again. In all the years I have had satellite service, I have never had any problems, so hopefully this had to do with the weather.
My neighbor came by and fixed my road/driveway, so now it's easier to get in and out. People here are so kind and helpful and I'm glad to have made new friends here in the canyon.
Guess where I was yesterday! I will prepare a post about it over the weekend; meanwhile, enjoy these photos of beautiful Southern California.
