Hi Inger - yes wonderful thought - the sun does give us glorious greetings ... mine is behind a cedar tree right now and a few clouds that are rattling around here ... still it's warming when it comes out and so beautiful to see. Love your photo ... cheers Hilary
Hi Inger, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on my too long post. I like to share the blog with family and it's a way to remember what we did from year to year.
To answer your question about the calves, " As soon as we realized what had happened, we quickly returned the calves with the proper mother and everyone seemed to be content. All is well that ends well.
I hope that your Sunday is going well. It's been a glorious sunshiny day here.
Our sunrises look like yours, especially today. There was huge cloud hovering over the hills that was brilliant orange. I tried to take a photo of it on my IPhone 5, but it was not good. The IPhone does well with close ups, but scenery, no. But I do enjoy the view and on special nights, early at say, 2 or 3 am, I can see Orion's Belt. We are lucky, you and I Inger, to have such beauty in our back yards.
John and your photo say it all. We have been so over cast her for so many weeks that I can't remember seeing my last sunrise. Thanks for the lovely reminder.
any quote by John Muir is good by me! Love what he did and what he wrote and illustrated. I have visited a few exhibits by him in different nature museums, my favorite one being in Bend, Oregon. Beautiful photo.
what a view. i am guessing from your comment that you use to live in North Dakota? hope i am guessing correctly. we enjoyed our trip there. thank you for stopping by. i always enjoy meeting new friends through our blogs. such a small world. you have a great New Year!! take care. ( :
