you've seen some magnificent skies and some very cool colors and clouds. i learned the name of those spaceship ones recently and now can't remember it. :)
Oh wow, those red clouds pictures looks like the Phenix rising from ashes. Amazing skies. I love seeing pictures in cloud formation. Have a great day Inger. Hugs, JB
I too am a cloud lover. When I was little I used to lay on the grass and look up at the clouds for what seemed like hours. I like how you labeled your clouds! It added to the enjoyment of viewing the pictures.
Such beautiful clouds. I saw a profile of a cat in one, a UFO in another, and so much beauty in all of them. As I was driving last weekend, I saw a funnel cloud snake down a half mile ahead of me. Scary! Thankfully it snaked back up! Midnight, the mini-panther, sends his feline best. :-)
Wonderful photos, Inger! I am a lover of clouds too. All them are stunning and you took great photos! Love especially the cloud with the moon, white clouds and favorite clouds. I like so much the vegetation and the junipers around your place too. Have a nice day and lots of hugs!
Wow those are awesome photos - I didn't realize that the clouds had so many wonderful colors - reminds me of the song - American the Beautiful! I am glad you are taking the time to enjoy them.
You captured some of the best cloud pictures I have ever seen. Going to show them to Harley as she is a new photographer and is loving the sky recently!
What a wonderful collection of clouds, Inger! I hope some of these clouds brought along a bit of rain to your area. I liked 'crazy cloud' #2. Good to have you back.

ReplyDeleteThey are called lenticular clouds.
DeleteI'll never be able to remember that. I don't see them here, does it happen there for a certain reason?
DeleteI went to Wikipedia, but there was just too much of an explanation, so please check it out here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_cloud

ReplyDeleteI used to lay in the grass and watch clouds when I was little too. And let my mind and imagination run. I don't think kids do that any longer.
