My life has been full of adventures, don't know where to start! I think I will go backwards, beginning with this:
Rachael's old car, which has now become mine. It's a 2003 Honda CRV with quite a few miles on it, but mainly freeway miles. And, as you can see, it's condition is immaculate. It has never been in an accident, and is the ideal car for me.
When Christina was here, we rented a Subaru Legacy for a week. I drove it to Los Angeles and also part of the way to Death Valley and I didn't get as exhausted as I get driving the Jeep through the desert winds.
After a horrible trip home from the LA suburbs in the dark, wind howling, after seeing the eye doctor vet for Samson, with Samson and Mary in the Jeep, I decided I had to look into getting a used car or I would be stuck at home, never going anywhere.
Then this car happened and I've been so excited! I drove it home from the park where Rachael works the other day. It was another windy day and I could feel it, but main thing: I couldn't hear it. The soft top on the Jeep makes it so noisy all the time on the freeways, and the wind just adds to it.
I gave old Betsy, my 1989 Ford Ranger pickup, to Glenn. I have many good memories of Errol in that truck. We took some fun trips in her and she's the only car we ever gave a name to. But I can use the Jeep for the things that need to be done here, and Glenn will help out with my next project, which is cleaning up the outside areas around here.
More soon!
