Samson Says:

I feel pretty, oh so pretty.......

Samson went to the groomers Thursday; he was there for 3 hours and 45 minutes. It usually takes Jennifer, the groomer, 2 1/2 hours. I think she was training people and it seemed like it took a long time to dry him off.

He had a white rinse applied and he now smells better than a dog really should smell. He had a facial done, whatever that is, his fur trimmed way back on his legs, his feet (it's amazing how furry his feet, I mean his paws, are), his undercoat trimmed way back and his tummy completely shaved. He already had a pedicure at the vet the week before.

Before he leaves they tie a bandanna around his neck and give me a packet with some dog biscuits. It's a really lovely place and not expensive at all.

I wanted to capture and share his prettiness, as it will not last long. What is lasting, however, is what an absolutely good and patient dog he is. He suffered through the bath, the blowdry, and all the rest with equanimity and a smile.

Me: Love you my sweet boy.

Samson: I know, I just wish you'd stop kissing me so much.

  2. Facial, trimming, shaving, pedicure - your Samson lives the life of a prince, not of a dog. Lucky him!

  5. Oh boy! He does look so handsome and groomed. It must feel so good to have a fresh skin free of outdoor dust. He looks younger and I'm sure he appreciate this special love gift very much and that he feels your love.
Kisses for Samson and hugs for you.

    1. Samson Says: Oh, Gracie, it is so good to hear from you. You know I don't care about your nose bling, I will visit your blog tomorrow or Thursday and see if there are any pictures. I just keep dreaming of giving you ear kisses, you have the prettiest ears. And of course you will be beautiful. XOXXOXOXO, Your Samson

  10. He is beautiful! What kind of dog is he, and how old? It takes a very special dog to be patient and sit for all those hours while being groomed! The bandanna is really cute, too! He must be getting a collection of them by now.
