I will need a break for a while. I lost my voice, it came back but really hoarse. And I don't feel well, not really sick, but not well. I have talked to the nurse at my doctor's office and she's checking with him.
It was 100 degrees on my patio yesterday and that doesn't help. Good we have air conditioning in one room.
I edited some pictures of my outdoor rock collection and have posted them below. Enjoy! And I will see you soon.
really beautiful rocks and photos. feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThe rocks are just gorgeous! Hope you feel much better soon! Take care of yourself! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOur Grandson who is doing a Masters' degree in science and specialising in Geology would love to see all those rocks, the colours and strata are amazing. Rest up, and get better quickly, The heat probably has a big place in all of this.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely! I have a rock collection too!! Let me know what the doctor says, I hope you are back to normal soon.
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of colors and shapes in the second picture of your rock collection.
ReplyDeleteAs for your voice hoarsenes, well, rest your vocal cords, and feel well soon!
Your rocks are just beautiful. Take care of yourself, Inger. The heat everywhere is not good for anybody’s health.
ReplyDeleteYou have some wonderful rocks. I have a much smaller collection. We brought most of them home from Colorado. I have wondered if I move should I move them with me? Get to feeling better
ReplyDeleteI do hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful rocks in your collection.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better real soon.
I'm sorry you aren't well. I wish I could pamper you and take care of you myself.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Hi Inger - a healthy mix of geology there - love the range of colours and thus rock. Take care and you're doing the right thing looking after yourself ... sounds like resting is the best - as that heat can be sapping.
ReplyDeleteWe're having a lot of heat in the south east here ... but it is glorious, though warm! Thinking of you and hope your voice comes back and you start to feel better ... big hugs - Hilary
Very nice! It's hot here too. We may get storms today, though. That should cool things off. I bet you don't get storms there in the desert...just earthquakes. How is everything now? Any damage?
ReplyDeletewe are finally having a little break for a few days where the nights are cool
ReplyDeletethen back to the heat dome. we're used to this kind of summer. and we're not even in the desert zone!
I can't imagine it. well actually now I can. the older I get the more it affects me.
the heat has been brutal all over this year. and coupled with the humidity it's like being smothered
in a wet HOT blanket! there are days I don't even go out. it's truly dangerous for some of us.
drink lots of water! I'm sure you already do! but dehydration is so horrible.
I'm better now about remembering to drink water.
feel better soon darling bean! XOXO
and btw... your 'rocks' are gorgeous. such deep colors and striations.
to imagine the history of them... it's staggering.
it always seems they're kind of like living beings in a way.
we had a rock collector neighbor in Virginia once who had a tumbler.
and it was fascinating to watch him clean them. your own collection is beautiful.
So sorry you don't feel well and hope the doc has a quick fix for you. Loved that last rock the best. Take care and feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you are not feeling well and I pray that you will soon feel well again.
ReplyDeleteYour rock collection looks so interesting. I love rocks, especially the pretty ones.
Hugs, Julia
Not everyone's rock collection is so magnificent. Love the rough beauty.
ReplyDeleteHeat is nasty here as well. Normally the air is dry and hot. today it is humid, which makes it worse.
Dear Inger, I am so sorry you don't feel well.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will be well very soon!
Really, 100 degrees on your patio is really very hot!
