Rust ~ Post No. 27

From the Hogwash* collection.

*Hogwash is a ghost town created by my friend Karen and her husband Bruce. It's located on their property in town.

Thanks for your feedback on my Picnic post, both on my diabetes complaint and on Walmart. Also for reminding me about their hiring of both the elderly and people with intellectual disabilities. My sister had Down syndrome so I have always supported organizations that were involved with that. And, of course, hiring older people as well, is a good thing. Maybe I will even see a robot in there!!!

  2. Hi Inger - love the idea of their ghost garden - such fun ... while the rusty rotor stands tall ...

Your support for the disabled reminds us all ... where we need to put our time ... take care and have a good weekend. Last night we had a dose of heavy rain, still heavy with mist - the plants will love it, once they've recovered from the stair-rod battering!! ... but due to for beautiful weather next week - cheers Hilary

  3. All ready have a robot here that does my sweeping. Gotta say I love it. If I could get one to cook and dust I'd go for it. As for hiring the elderly, I am the elderly so I need a little younger to get the job done. Looking into a yard man now.

  7. A nice rusty flower. It shows the imagination of its creator. My daughter came to our farm get some rusty pieces of metal for a friend of hers who wanted to use it to make dye for fibre. She said there was a lot of rusty pieces.
    Enjoy your day. Hugs, Julia

  8. Rust and imagination go well together.

WalMart always seems to extend helping hands to people of disabilities, elderly, and more. It shows the respect it has for the community.
