This one reminds me of the stitching that mother used to do. I've lost the name of what that stitching is called but she took a picture and did tiny stitches and I have a church hanging on the wall in the bedroom that she did. Whatever that is called that's what this reminds me of. Coloring is good for your health
Hi Inger - it sounds as though you love this pastime ... I've never got to grips with it - while what looks like a lighthouse in stormy seas is beautifully finished and coloured. Take care - Hilary
A lovely pastime for many people. Your coloring looks great. When my sister in law died recently, I inherited some of her coloring books. I kept a few of those I like the best and the rest is going to charity. I haven't tried coloring yet.I still need to bring those books to town. Stay safe and cool. Hugs, Julia
Love this - the colors you used ...perfect together.... You must know the color wheel well...
Today I actually worked on a photo I had taken at a museum where they have windows you can look displays and the photo I took was a scene that was all just black and white. I figured I would color it in today. Then I come here and see you have colored a picture too.
I always loved to color as a child. and I thought it great when 'coloring books' for all ages (meaning adults I suppose!) came on the marketplace. but every single one seemed to be overwhelming to me. NO SPACE! every tiny part of every picture was/is FILLED with design. that is the single thing I appreciate most in yours... there is SPACE to let the eye breathe so to speak! but then I'm a minimalist. and space is as important (even more important perhaps) in living with any design to me. they mostly just make me tired looking at them! but YOURS are 'simply' LOVELY!!! xoxo
Dear Inger, something happened and i lost the comment I was leaving. All it really said was that I was so happy for you in that you've found another outlet for your creativity. Also, I so admire your patience as revealed in this towering lighthouse and the waves. Take care; stay safe. My fur persons greet yours! Peace.

How pretty. I love to color too and need to get my colored pencils out and my sketch book. Enjoy your day. It feels good to do something creative!
