Foto Friday

A couple of years ago, the sky went wild here. Not like the Northern Lights wild, but all pink wild. Several lenticular clouds, like the one in the picture, formed; zig-zag shaped clouds raced across the hillsides; and a pink wash covered the deep-blue sky at sunset. This was a magnificent nature phenomenon that I was lucky to have noticed. Since then I always keep an eye on the sky at sunset.

I came across this cloud formation when I was looking for the Halloween pictures the other day. I will look for the rest and we can have a pink cloud show some Friday soon.

  15. Very pretty. Love the paint job on the clouds. We are now going into the pink morning skies here in Alaska when I see some pretty spectacular color. In the summer it's too light for that.
