My friend Rachael at work with a five-month old mule deer. The little deer just arrived at the county park where Rachael works, but you can see how she is bonding with Rachael, looking at her with so much trust.
This is Rachael's favorite quote:
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." ~ Gandhi
What a lovely photo! Rachel looks happy embracing this cute deer. And the deer looks happy too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quote.
oh, so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteIf it's to be, it has to be me. (that gets the job done, that is) That's a fave quote of mine, which is along the same lines.
ReplyDeleteI love the way that the deer is looking at Rachel, too. Animals can tell who to trust.
PS-Tell Rachel, blue is her color, she looks radiant in that photo.
I agree about Rachael in blue, a color I have not seen on her often. I was about to add it to the post, but I didn't want it to take away from the look on the face of that little deer. She is a very lucky little deer, for sure.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo Inger. Will this little deer be released or will it stay there?
ReplyDeleteThat is my favorite quote too.
ReplyDeleteThe baby dear is so sweet and Rachel seems to love animals.
he is adorable and she is so pretty and a wonderful person to work with the critters to save them... i like that quote... it is so true.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quote, but then, she is a beautiful person--inside & out!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteDelightful to see Rachel again, with one of her friends.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!

ReplyDeleteObviously, Rachel is a very special person.
ReplyDeleteI love the quote. And the photo!
ReplyDeleteGood quote and photo at the end of my day--Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing well, and have had a good day, Inger!
Goodness, I had no idea those little deer were so tame!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo! Gandhi's quote really rings true. I came over from Rosalind's blog, and I'm glad I did!
