You know I had to show you this, even though most of you see rain and puddles all the time.
Took Faith to the vet this morning in a downpour. She is so CALM and well behaved (with only Samson having had the energy and time to bring her up properly) that I feel truly blessed to know her. She will come home tomorrow.
Samson is not acting as if he misses her. Probably happy to get a break from all that puppy love.
Rain! Rain! Praise God! San Diego is receiving the gift of rain right now!!
ReplyDeletehooray!!! i hope no landslides or flooding problems - just good, replenishing rains! and i hope faith does really well overnight. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are having rain in Virginia right now, but that's not unusual. Enjoy your rainy day!
ReplyDeleteTaking Harper to the vet or groomer was miserable. Franklin is well behaved everywhere we go. Of course, I would love to have misery with Harper in my life again.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I'm glad you got rain. I know the drought out there is pretty bad. This will at least help a little bit, if only from the perspective of morale.
ReplyDeleteThank the good LORD you finally got rain!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that rain in your area!
ReplyDeleteso very happy for your rain, hope Faith does well...
ReplyDeleteIt rained here, too--wasn't that nice?
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the good slow rain that is beneficial! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you'll be able to cuddle up with the sounds of a nice drizzling rain! Sooooo worried about your lack of rain situation.
ReplyDeleteIs Faith your new baby? If so, congratulations!
How wonderful! I'm sure the land is smiling!
ReplyDeleteYAY for the rain! I know how bad you needed it.
ReplyDeleteGlad he was able to take care of Faith before things got out of control. :D
Samson is probably glad for the break. He may cry a bit when she comes back! I'm glad you got that much needed rain!
ReplyDeleteHi Inger - that's wonderful to see it rain your way .. I know how much you need and love the soaking life-blood of the land.
ReplyDeleteWell done on being able to get Faith to the vets - glad she held off .. and am sure she'll fine when you collect her.
Cheers Hilary
Oh, Inger, I felt like I'd been kicked in the gut. I'm sorry, so very sorry, for the tough period you're going through. I took hope from the remission and pray his health continues to improve. It's upsetting when bad things happen to good people. It's not fair. I'm thinking positive thoughts and sending lots of hugs to you and your husband!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you all, Inger!! I can only imagine what it would be like to not have rain!....as I look out my window and it pouring outside!!
ReplyDeleteAll the best going to Faith.
Thanks so much for visiting from Sandra's blog. I hope Faith is doing well and I am glad you rec'd some rain! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteDear Inger,
ReplyDeleteoh, what lovely words on my blog!!! Thank you so much for your nice visit! I'm so happy you like my little Austrian home. Had to smile while watching your pictures because all the sudden these songlines poped up: I never rains in southern California! :)!
Your co-bloggers are fantastic! I'm an absolutely dog person you should know!
Have a wonderful time and thank you so much
Elisabeth
Hi there Inger! I just wanted to stop by and say HI and thanks for visiting me and leaving your sweet comment! I know you all need the rain:) Just not too much! Enjoy your day new friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying some rain. It's about time, eh? I can't imagine living in the desert, but then there are many people who can't imagine living in the snowy cold climate that I do either! Thanks for visiting my blog. Your dogs are cuties.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the sun for days. I could use a little sunshine. : )
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with Faith.
Samson is probably glad to be number one again and not have to share you. Hope her surgery goes well and she will be running around in no time.
ReplyDeleteall of California rejoices (except those with mudslides and traffic accidents). So so glad we are getting enough to green things up in the valleys and deserts. The mountains have remained pretty green all summer. But they need water for the lakes.
ReplyDeleteRain there must be relished, Inger. Hope that Faith does well...and Samson sn't too lonely without her!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteRain, beautiful rain!
ReplyDeleteHope Faith is recovering well and back home.
I know you needed rain - I saw on the news this morning you were getting some.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see the news and the rain in Cali, I say out loud, YAY SWEDISH GODDESS!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo
The rain looks great!... We are home now...so we don't get the California weather reports... hope it is not too much... too fast...
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the rain. We see puddles like that most days in the UK! Hope Faith is ok.
ReplyDeleteSuch delightful pictures. Rain, though; not snow. But then I don't know if you have any Bears in a mood to hibernate. (That would be the only reason for snow.)
ReplyDeleteHope Faith stays well.
Blessings and Bear hugs to all!
I'm glad you got rain, Inger!
ReplyDeleteI just read your update and I know that dear Faith is well! It's a good new!
