Rain!

You know I had to show you this, even though most of you see rain and puddles all the time.

Took Faith to the vet this morning in a downpour. She is so CALM and well behaved (with only Samson having had the energy and time to bring her up properly) that I feel truly blessed to know her. She will come home tomorrow.

Samson is not acting as if he misses her. Probably happy to get a break from all that puppy love.

  4. Taking Harper to the vet or groomer was miserable. Franklin is well behaved everywhere we go. Of course, I would love to have misery with Harper in my life again.

    Love,
    Janie

  5. I'm glad you got rain. I know the drought out there is pretty bad. This will at least help a little bit, if only from the perspective of morale.

  17. Oh, Inger, I felt like I'd been kicked in the gut. I'm sorry, so very sorry, for the tough period you're going through. I took hope from the remission and pray his health continues to improve. It's upsetting when bad things happen to good people. It's not fair. I'm thinking positive thoughts and sending lots of hugs to you and your husband!

  22. I'm glad you are enjoying some rain. It's about time, eh? I can't imagine living in the desert, but then there are many people who can't imagine living in the snowy cold climate that I do either! Thanks for visiting my blog. Your dogs are cuties.

  25. all of California rejoices (except those with mudslides and traffic accidents). So so glad we are getting enough to green things up in the valleys and deserts. The mountains have remained pretty green all summer. But they need water for the lakes.

  32. Such delightful pictures. Rain, though; not snow. But then I don't know if you have any Bears in a mood to hibernate. (That would be the only reason for snow.)

    Hope Faith stays well.

Blessings and Bear hugs to all!
