Dear Inger, The photograph is evocative and makes me long to see the western part of the United States. I so wish you'd write a posting about the rural sounds you hear when you listen to the world around you.

I love that honeyed California light. And the evenings are fantastic. I was photographing clouds here in similar light the day before yesterday, which came out well. But especially the vegetation I hadn't even noticed until I saw the finished results. I'll post those in a few weeks.
