I bought several copies of "A Cat's Life". I really enjoyed communicating with Dee. She is a special person! I can't wait to read your review. Have a nice Sunday and a great week.
I'm an animal lover, and lost my cat a few years ago to feline diabetes. We gave him shots for 4 years before he had to be put down. Seems our animals get similar diseases to humans.
Looks like a lovely book, Inger, will look forward to the review.
Given that cats have staff rather than owners (like dogs), a day spent with a cat can be a peculiar. Even if the cat deigns to allow you to get close and make physical contact, you're just doing what you're expected to do by your boss.
Dogs, on the other hand, . . . well, you have experienced the best of that. You understand the wonders of dogs!
and I can add time spent with dogs is never wasted and time spent in nature is never wasted.
ReplyDeleteI like cats :)

Ah, cats. Love them and their many ways to dominate us. Even when enormously grateful for being rescued, as was our old cat, they are never servile.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Dee's book now, and enjoying it so much. A lot of wisdom in simple terms!
ReplyDeleteI ran a shelter for 15 years and learned that animals can teach us so much about living if we just pay attention.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your review.
I spend time with three cats every day, and I have to agree with that.
