Great Image and song ... hope you're feeling better Inger.
Very pretty... barn and the sentiments of the song.
sweet old thing!
This is one of those pictures where you wish "walls could talk".
When I see dilapidated barns or just old barns, I imagine its past and want to capture it. Why? It must be the resonance of simpler times. Decay is part of life, too.I wish more people would use the world gently. Too many places have been stripped. Too many people have short-range thinking.Good eye, Inger!
Lovely. Oh the tales this barn could tell.Something very mystical about barns.Good photo Inger.
What a lovely barn.... love the colour!!
Something about old barns past their prime so very beautiful yet bittersweet , as I myself ~ pass my prime.
I love old barns, and the words to this verse are ones that I wish more people would remember to do.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one smitten with old barns.
So much truth said in so few words!
Beautiful barn picture--& I love your new header picture!!

Very special. Quite a nice departure from the usual red! Wonderful words...
Dear Inger, thank you for the evocative photograph and for the poem. The touch of our culture on the planet has not been gentle. In fact, most of the industrialized world has been touch on the planet. I so hope the Green Movement gentles us. Peace.
Thanks for leaving a comment.. ~~ Inger
