  4. Dear Inger, thanks so much for stopping by and commenting on my posting today. It's good to be back to writing posts and reading blogs--like yours. I just finished reading the last eight or nine you've posted and I'm so glad to learn that Solider is doing so well. He surely doesn't look thirteen. So stalwart. Isn't life a mystery? That your husband just came by the day before Soldier would have been euthanized? Life is good to Soldier and to you and your husband who now are a family that welcomes other animals--like Samson, who sings so merrily to Gracie.

I'm glad to learn that walking after each meal can help lower your blood sugar. And as you said in one post, walking instead of watching television gave you some lovely scenes that you photographed. That bluebird is gorgeous. I'm so glad you've let the faucet drip! Peace.

  10. Shangri-La was based on the Hunzas in the Himalayas. I have always wanted to visit the Hunzas (I did the A-Z on them a couple years ago) but I know I'll never get there. I should visit the Zen retreat near you. It's closer and easier to get to. Ha
