Giant Panda Cub ~ San Diego Zoo 2004

It was well worth the trip to the San Diego Zoo to see the Giant Pandas back in 2004. While the adults slept most of the time, this cub was active and fun to watch.

I will take about a week off from posting to my blog. I have a lot of stuff to catch up on, one of them reading your blogs. I'm looking forward to finding out what's going on with all of you. So, if I can contain myself from posting something, I will be back in a week or so.

  1. Pandas are cute but they're so dumb, especially when it comes to mating. I always say it makes sense they're my sister's favorite animal since she's just as picky when it comes to mating.

  7. What a cute picture! We have pandas here at the Atlanta zoo, too, but whenever we've seen them, all they're doing is eating bamboo or sleeping. They sure don't seem to have much energy!

I love your header picture. It's such a majestic shot, and when I come to your blog, it's like looking out a window at a beautiful view.

Enjoy your break. I'm so sorry about your friend.

  14. Very nice photo of the Panda cub, Inger! Pandas always look so adorable to me and the cubs are especially cute. I’ve been to the San Diego Zoo. Years ago I lived in El Cajon, which is East County San Diego (I’m on the East Coast now). Good luck catching up!

  15. Dear Inger, thank you for the photograph of this cuddly panda. And I hope the time you take off refreshes you and leaves you ready and eager to come back to blogging. But please do be gracious to yourself and if you need more time--days, weeks, months--then take them off also. Peace.

  16. See you when you get back. Sometimes we need to stay away to catch up with ourselves. You've had quite enough to cope with.

  17. Whoa! For a minute I thought you had a Panda in the canyon. Now that would be a treat!

Take care; see you when you're back.

    Blessings and Bear hugs.
