Reflections of a Sunset

I had planned to post a scary story of a bear gone wild here in the canyon today, but then I remembered this is a day to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I decided to stay quiet and post these pictures. The first photo shows that the sun has set in the west; the rest show that after the sun has set, it's light is still with us, if only for a brief moment. I am hoping that Dr. King's light will shine for more than a brief moment in time......

  2. I believe the spirit of Martin Luther King shines as brightly & beautifully as any sunset--may it continue to shine in our hearts as long as we have sunsets.

  9. Dr King's light will hopefully shine for a long, long time yet and I love the way the sun is caught by those hills (or are they mountains?) But I can't help wondering about that wild bear!

  10. I'm wondering about that bear too and will post what I know about it on Wednesday. That way I'm once again cheating on my book reviews, which is what I should be doing on Wednesdays. Oh, well, soon.

  15. Very sweet, Inger.

Our sunset was nondescript this evening -- maybe didn't want to steal any attention from Dr. King's day. :)
