Samson Says:
I was just sitting here looking out the window, minding my own business, when
Mommy showed me this picture:
and said: "Samson, that's how you're supposed to look. With all this mud and stuff, you are a mess and I need to clean you up!" I thought that was such a pretty dog, and asked: "Mommy, is that a girl? I'd like to meet her, xoxo." Mommy said: "I think so, and if you ever meet a girl like that, you better look just as good." Then she took the brush out.
But I was quick and stole it. Angel tried to get it, but not a chance. But then, here comes Mommy, looking determined.
She grabs the brush and gets going. Ouch, I don't think I like this very much.
Look how much hair is coming off me. I might catch a cold if this continues.
Then she gets in my face…
and I see my opportunity. I quickly grab some hair off the brush and eat it before she can stop me. All my antics make Mommy tired, so she takes a break.
He, he, I won that round, didn't I?
She didn't even get to my tail and rear end yet!!
Have a nice day everyone!

Oh Samson, you are such a stinker! But a beautiful one, even if you're not brushed out yet!
ReplyDeleteSamson is so cute Inger.
ReplyDeleteLove the post!
Aw, you are such a pretty dog, don't you want to be gorgeous? Maybe Mommy should take you to the beauty shop???
ReplyDeleteSamson, I love you! But, there's a younger, good-looking gal across the street named Susie I think you would really, really like.
ReplyDeleteWe've just returned from our trip. Too complicated to do anything from the road/hotel, so, after I get this place organized (can you hear the washing machine?), I'm going to go to the blogs I missed. I really, really enjoyed reading about the goat/Christmas and am eager to learn more.
it is a felting project in the making
ReplyDeleteyou could make a Samson purse!! Keep all the best toys in it
Samson...you are one tease aren't you...I used to be a kinda teaser but now let the guys have their way with me...It's all good in he end 'cause treats are inevitable..remember TREATS are always at the end ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think Mommy can make another dog out of all that hair coming off of you, Samson. :)
ReplyDeleteSamson, you are one handsome fella! Now, what is your Mama doing with all that hair? Maybe she will have it spun into wool and make you a handsome scarf!? Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteJim
Oh, but she will Samson:)))
ReplyDeleteSamson, you are such a handsome fellow. You need to let your Mommy brush you, so that you can really strut your stuff. And, knowing your Mom, I strongly suspect that Sophie is right and there will be treats at the end.
ReplyDeleteSamson, if she brushes enough off, she may have enough for a whole other Sampson!! :-)))
ReplyDeleteInger, good luck on Sampson's rear end and tail! Moon hates it when I brush her tail!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteSamson lives up to his name doesn't he. Beautiful dog.
ReplyDeleteoh Samson your beautiful....
ReplyDeletelove the dog antics. you guys are always up to something. great pictures! hope you had a beautiful saturday!
ReplyDeleteOh Samson, you are so handsome! Our Clifford has a long thick coat too. He goes to the groomer and I brush him too. He likes to be brushed 'cause he knows he gets treats!
ReplyDeleteSamson - you are a beautiful boy! Tell your mommy that I just got caught up on her blog. Glad to see that your road didn't entirely wash away with the recent storms.
ReplyDeleteHehehe ... too funny ... and what a magnificent tail Samson has ... even when it's unbrushed ...
ReplyDeleteSamson you rascal, eating your own fur--you silly boy. I have to say you are a beauty though!
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine dealing with all of that hair! He is a beautiful dog!
ReplyDeleteAw, Samson looks so cute. A real beautiful dog but I too can't imagine brushing all his hair. I never realized Samoyeds needed brushing when I saw a lot of them where I lived up north as a child. It reminds me very much of brushing my sweet cat (before she passed). She was a white, long-haired Turkish Angora. Oh the hair that came out of her *smile. All over my red sofas and carpet, lol. What came first, the sofa/carpet or the cat you might ask? It was my furniture. I still have my furniture but I miss my cat.
ReplyDeleteSamson!!! youre a Sammy! We have Dexter, and hes our Forestry Sammy! We take him everywhere!
ReplyDeleteYep, lots of fluffy white fur that you have to let mom brush so you look lovely!
And does your mom have to wake you up to move you from the door so she can open it for the UPS man? lol You sammys make baaaad watch dogs - you love tooo much lol!
