Me, alone. Life after loss.
Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. ~ Gautama Buddha

While the Peace Bell at the Mountain Spirit Center here in the canyon is beautiful, the peace I seek does not come from there, not even from the mountains, the rocks, the flowers.
It must, indeed, come from within.
Working on it....
Deep breaths. Long walks. Quiet sits with your furry friends.

i would love to hear the loud bong of this peace drum.. glad you know peace comes from within and are still struggling to find it. i found this quote on another blog today.... "Tears are prayers too, they travel to God when we can't speak."

Thanks, Sandra for the quote.
DeleteHi Inger - you're doing well ... each day a little more quiet and peace ... and you are in the right place for being with nature, hearing the Peace bell and taking your time to reach your inner perigrinations ... Peace will come ... all the very best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteHilary, now I have to go and look up that word. perigrinations?
DeleteOK, I did it and now I learned another word, soon to be forgotten, of course.....
DeleteI like that Peace comes from within! I am working on it right along with you!!
ReplyDeleteI know you are and I wish you all good things in life.
DeletePeace is water that quenches the fire whirling within.
ReplyDeleteI love the Gautama Buddha quote, Inger!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
That is so very true.
ReplyDeleteI've been away and am now catching up. I love this month of posts of yours. You should bring them together in a small book for yourself (you can even make it an e-book).
ReplyDeleteI used to think that peace was a thing that I could achieve. Now, for me, it's a balance.
I will make a book of it. Don't know what format yet, but I will do it.
Deletemay God pour peace all over you
