Her name is Angel, and she's fierce. Here she's stolen Daddy's shoe.
Here she tells me to back off.
That I do, but then I follow her. The picture is upside down, but you get the idea.
Here I'm working on a plan to take that shoe away from her. So I do some of my Samoyed howling to distract her. To no avail – Mommy interferes and takes the shoe away.
So instead we do some smooching….
Isn't she the cutest old dog you ever saw? And so playful at her age.
We aren't shy…here I kiss her one.
Aww, she really loves me and kisses me back.
All this kissing gets me so excited! Now I gotta play some more.
I'm all shook up!
Angel is game for some more play.
Here we take off for the run around the table, up and down the couch, game.
We're running now! She's very fast for her old age, Angel is. But check me out! I run so fast, I'm just a blur!
Here we collided and then Mommy said dinner will be ready soon. See what a wonderful girl, I've got. xoxo
Mommy says to tell everyone that Angel is 12 ½ and what you may see on her nose is called Discoid Lupus. Some people who read about her worry about her nose, but Mommy has it under control with something called Homeopathic remedies. That's all for now!

Such a sweet and joyous couple!!!
ReplyDeleteSamson, I know you are glad to have such a willing playmate. Be sweet. After all, she is almost 84 in human years!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful girlfriend, Samson. Nothing like those older women.
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a tiny space between that couch and table for such energetic and enthusiastic pups! I'm sure you both keep your human folk laughing a lot!
ReplyDeleteThe pic of Samson howling is so vivid, I can just hear what he sounds like! :-) I would have a hard time every saying no to that sweet face. :-)
I'm glad Angel didn't scold you for howling and letting mom know she had daddy's shoe. You are a pair of fun cuties!
ReplyDeletePan and Kalen always steal their Dad's shoes.
ReplyDeleteSamson, you are so lucky. You two play so nicely together! I wish Gracie had another doggie to play with... but her daddy says no. Now I have that song in my head .. Ain't no doggie like the one I got. :) Have a beautiful day and tell your Mommy hello for me :)
ReplyDeleteThat was fun! Love it when they start to chase around a table....they ALL do that! Great shots Inger.
ReplyDeleteThey are having a ball! Dogs are THE BEST!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteAWWW, it is lovely that they have each other to play with; beats you having to get down and dirty and entertain them...our entertainment is Hurricane chasing Angel-Kitty and vice versa...they are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteSamson, you and Angel play together like Jack and Jill! That must make a lot of commotion, with the two of you being bigger dogs! It's nice to a have a special friend, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Inger!
Looks like you have a handful with those two:))
ReplyDeleteSamson's a smart dude to hang out with an older woman.
ReplyDeleteHey, Inger, through a blog hop I came across an interesting food blog by a Swedish gal I thought you'd enjoy. It's: http;//ropcorn.com

ReplyDeleteAngel...you have found a great home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great dog story, and your dogs are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and commenting on my blog, very nice to meet you!
I've been browsing your blog, and it's very interesting! Looks like you live in a beautiful place!
Our son, now 28, was diagnosed with diabetes 1, and also Morbus Addisons disease, a related auto immune condition, at age 13, and he only moved out recently, so we've been living closely with all the connected challenges for many years. The two conditions work against each other, and make them both harder to manage.
I'm signing up to follow you, and look forward to get to know you more!
This is so cute! I love the photos and the doggie play time. My two dogs do the same thing - catch shoes and chase each other around the table!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday to you!

I just love seeing pictures of dogs playing. I have a dog with that stuff on his nose too. While it looks yucky, they say it really isn't a health issue. I put bag balm on his nose and it helps a bit.
ReplyDeleteSeeing dogs play makes my heart happy ! They are beautiful souls..
